”What gets measured gets managed…”

… & It’s not about trust issues or micromanagement !

But it’s funny how we as humans work. Most people needs a deadline or a todo list to make things happen and create results…

IAW no 8💡”Metrics & Rewards…part 1”

Start look at, and treat metrics, deadlines and todo lists as something positive!

Sometimes it’s enough to start look at metrics and follow ups differently. A more encouraging, forward thinking & energy boosting activity where you and your team/s have each others back focus on positive momentum and with one common agenda and goal.

🏆 To do better together!

When your team adopt a positive mindset around this, you have taken the first step together to create a winning team, successful GTM & become unstoppable.

In business follow up’s I often use the terminology ”Basecamp”, ”checkpoints”, ”part goals” & ”wins” instead. And to make sure everybody are aligned and understands what needs to be done, remember to use the ”superpower” communication.

🎯 it’s how you communicate and if needed explain/educate everybody so that everybody understands and commit to the what & why’s in advance that makes the difference.

💎 The key is transparency, predictability and alignment.

With this in mind – the right Metrics or as I’d like to call it ✅ ”achievement logbook” will be a positive force. For, with, and within your team/s.

Do you remember one of my first statements & northern stars?

✨ ”Passion creates brilliance”!

If you can make your teams passioned about something you will be able to move mountains. This is even more important when you work with an extended salesforce. The exponential force behind you is enormous but this need you to make sure they are 100% aligned, engaged and motivated to work with you and that there is no ambiguity on what needs to be done.

💡…I can guarantee you, it actually works!!

As always, nothing would make me more glad if I can give you an idea or inspiration to try something different or remember something you’ve already learned – be passioned and pay it forward.

Stay tuned for the next IAW –
